Special Bond

It's so much fun doing multi-generational family photo shoots.
I'm a natural people watcher,
and it's always fun to watch the different families interact.
My favorite about the "G" family
was the interaction between grandma and granddaughter.

Grandma just had a way to make little miss "g" smile.

There is just something special between the bond between grandparents and their little ones.

Thanks so much! I enjoyed my time with you. - Jen

Sneaky peeky

Here's a sneak peek for the fabulous "K" family.

Their children are simply gorgeous!

When trying to capture a great group shot of the kids,
I try to utilize the reinforcements around me.
I asked the dad to do silly things behind me.
This is one of the geniune captures taken:

Love it!
Thanks so much "K" family for letting me be a part of your evening.
Loved the chai tea! - Jen

Little ladies

I had the privilege of taking pictures of these three little ladies.

Aren't they adorable!

I can see the wagon pic as a potential Christmas card.
I have something already stirring in my mind on that one.

I loved the mom's choice of colors/clothing for her daughters.

This one above is one of my favorites.

And this last one is one of my all time favorites.
I want it blown up and put on canvas. I love it so!
"S"family - I enjoyed my time with you. You have gorgeous, sweet little girls! - Jen

Quatro

Dog chasing + football playing = a photoshoot with these good looking boys.

Upon arrival of the photoshoot, the mom stated "We are going casual."
And "casual' fits this family.
I've known the mom for over 5 years.
We both work for Parents As Teachers.
(That's one of my many hats I was talking about on an earlier post. )
This mom has a wonderful way of making people feel comfortable and at ease.

So after some "formal" pics.
The boys set out to play.

Near the end, I asked for one more shot.
A tackle the oldest shot.
It is definitely my favorite.

Thanks "M" family, it was so much fun!
"B" it was nice meeting your boys. They are great! - Jen

Five on Friday

1. I've been busy here. Feel like I have been juggling many different hats and doing none of them too well. Trying to get more structured with my time.

2. Just had a birthday recently. This birthday was relatively hard mentally. I almost wished the day would skip over, and I would continue to be the same age as before. I know it's just a number and it's all about attitude, but this number is getting way too close 4 0.

3. Started jazzercise again. I truly love it! It's the only exercise that I get an endorphin high and not want to sleep afterwards. Plus I love feeling strong and boy do I feel strong afterwards.

4. My husband are on our fifth week of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace. We are trying to get our finances in order. The envelope system is our homework assignment for this week. It definitely makes you look at what you buy.

5. Thinking about finances, we decided our children need to learn the value of a dollar. A chores chart is now on the fridge, and it has been much easier to "remind" them of their responsibilities. Currently, they are running to get it done. We'll see how long that lasts ;)

* Bonus (Six of Friday doesn't sound as nice)

I have had this Proverb memorized for years. I've been applying it completely different lately. It's like it has taken on a totally different meaning. God's word has a funny way of doing that. Give your family a squeeze - Jen

Angelic poser

Meet sweet angelic "A."
She is such a doll.

She was just the natural poser.

She was so strong. She had wonderful head control for a two week old.

I think she also gave us a glimpse of her personality as well.

This pic is for grandma:

Who says 2 week olds don't smile.
That smile doesn't look like she is just passing gas ;)
It was a pleasure taking pics of your precious girls - Jen

Family fun

Meet the "S" family.
They are so much fun!
I met the lovely "K" a few years ago at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
We instantly connected.
She is real and transparent which I love.

I was able to shoot a lot of pics showing the true personalities of this family.
Those pics are the ones I prefer. In their raw element, just being real.
Here is my favorite of the group. I almost feel it needs a title.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks so much. I enjoyed my time with your family.
We definitely need to get together more!
"K & M" enjoy your anniversary get-away. We'll talk soon. - Jen
