Spring Snow

I'm so glad I looked at the weather last week,
and rescheduled my Easter mini photo shoots for Thursday.
I would not have been able to capture these images
in the snow:

I have so much more to show.
I have two open Easter mini photo shoot slots for this Friday 5:00 and 6:30.

Determination

Despite the snow on the ground,
my daffodils are determined to show
that spring is just around the corner.

No Guts, No Pain

That is my current physical state after
my appendectomy last Monday.
What a whirlwind of a day.
Sliding on the water slide at the Great Wolfe Lodge with my fam
to being placed in a "tube" to get a CAT scan at the hospital.
A Great Wolfe wristband on one arm and
a Lawrence Memorial Hospital wrist band on the other.

Isn't she a beaut? I won't have to worry about her ever causing me torment again.
This morning I went to my post op appointment with the surgeon.
Everything looks great;
Doc just recommended refraining from extraneous activity for another week.
I can do that :)

Got Winter Blues?

Buy yourself a water heater and let your children play with the cardboard.
Hours of fun.
Pent up energy released onto the cardboard and not onto yourself.
That was money well spent.

Tidbits

I don't know if this occurs in your car while driving to and fro,
but here is a recent conversation in our car.....

Hubby - "Can you guys talk quieter? Mom and I are trying to have a conversation."
My sunshine - "I'm not talking, I'm singing."
Hubby- "Can you sing quieter?"
My boy- "Maybe you can sing in your head."
My sunshine - long silence....

Have I ever told you that I think my girl is funny? She makes me laugh all the time.
