Anniversary Retreat

My husband and I just got back from our 15th wedding anniversary retreat at Beaver Lake Cottages in Eureka Spring, Arkansas.

Upon entering the cottage and looking out the window, this is what we saw:

15 years

It's been 15 years today that my hubby and I said our marriage vows.
15 years, seriously.
Where did those young kids go?

God knew who the perfect man for me should be.
I'm blessed to have such a loving, dedicated husband.
For some crazy reason, he loves me despite all my imperfections.

Friday Night

It was our first day of summer break.
Lazy and wonderful.
The weather finally cooperated and we were able to use our fire pit.
Our evening was filled with
fire stoking, wood cutting....

and rock painting.

Simple, but enjoyable.

Field Day

The school year is coming to an end.
My boy had field day today at school.
The weather was perfect.
