These boys' mom is a good friend of mine and a great supporter of
my photography business.
She was gracious enough to host a portrait party,
which I must say was a huge success!

One of the things I tell families when I take their picture is
"Pretend that you love each other."
That usually elicits them getting closer and more
genuine smiles. 
I believe this family did not need to pretend.
Their love is for real.

This last pic is my favorite of the bunch. I had asked the mom to look at me while her husband gave her a kiss. She got all giggly and this is what I got.....

Yellow goodness has been dancing the sides of the rural highways
and I just had to have some.
I hope every parent thinks their children
are the most beautiful children in the world.
Because I do.
The end of summer was filled with
kite flying....
cousin time, sand between the toes and fingers, screams of laughter, swimming, bike riding,
trampoline jumps, wonderful food.......
and bubbles.
Nice way to spend the warm windy days with family.
