Gettin' the boot
Here's the story: I have been driving past this hayfield the past few days in awe of its beauty. I just could not pass up a picture perfect opportunity. I have been reluctant in the past to just stop and take pictures in fear of gettin' the boot off someone's property. I decided to put all fears behind me, loaded up my littles ones and took off to this gorgeous Kansas view. Within a couple minutes of being in the hayfield, dogs began to bark and the home owner came out. BUSTED! I graciously yelled across the field to this elderly woman that I had to stop and take a picture of her beautiful land. She stated, "Why, thankyou." The kids petted the dogs, we loaded back up and I have only a few pictures to show for it. Oh well. I think I need to befriend some people with beautiful land.

Sweetness
I had the privilege of taking some pictures of this little princess. She has three older brothers who absolutely adore her! Who wouldn't; she is pure sweetness.

Taste of Summer
I just love this picture of my kiddos that I took last summer. It is displayed in our guest bathroom. It reminds to be present with my children and enjoy the moments that I have with them. It was one of those spontaneous shots that I don't think I will ever be able to duplicate.
Plastic storage container + spray hose + water = Summer bliss

About
Photography is such a fun way to capture the memories of your loved ones. From the toothless grin of a baby to the ornery smile of a two year old, I love how a picture can freeze a moment in time. I love the snapshots I have captured with my children and would be honored to capture those moments with your family.
Since children do their best in their own environment, that is where the photo session will take place. Your home or a park is a wonderful choice for a family/child photo session. Expect the session to be relaxed, playful and fun.
I serve the Lawrence/Kansas City, KS area.
